THE FOUNDATION:

 

Larry and Arlyce Morrell are the founders of Morrell Companies established in 1962. Larry, oldest son of Pete Morrell started his Morrell & Morrell trucking career in 1962 with only a single truck and trailer. Larry believed in the need for diversification, which clearly led for new opportunities in the transportation industry. They had 6 children and saw a future potential for a family business in trucking. 

 

As the companies expanded 3 of the Morrell sons opened their own divisions in Morrell trucking. in 2008 Renee Morrell, wife of Terry Morrell (son of Larry and Arlyce) recognizes a need in Specialty Heavy Hauling so she decided to open a separate company now established and growing as Morrell Oversize a woman owned business.
